About Yolanda:

As a dedicated leader in the real estate industry, I appreciate the opportunity to share my journey and contributions.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving as President of the Los Angeles Southwest Association of Realtors (LASAOR) in both 2014 and 2024. As the Broker-Owner of Side by Side Real Estate Service, I have led initiatives that empower real estate professionals and advance Black homeownership.

Beyond my professional achievements, I am deeply committed to community service. I have organized financial literacy workshops, spearheaded homeownership education programs, and actively mentored emerging real estate professionals to ensure the next generation is equipped with the tools for success.

Additionally, I have contributed to policy development at the state level through my involvement in various C.A.R. committees. Most recently, I was honored to be accepted into the inaugural C.A.R. Leadership Academy. This transformative program has allowed me to refine my leadership skills, expand my industry knowledge, and build valuable relationships with like-minded professionals—all at a pivotal moment in my journey.

Looking ahead, I am committed to expanding homeownership education, mentoring future leaders, and developing housing solutions for special needs adults. My advice to fellow Black women in real estate is to remain persistent, build strong networks, and use their voices to drive meaningful change.
